Chris Carter
Chris Carter is a Teacher at Concordia International School Shanghai. He is the 2012 Patricia Behring NHD Asia History Teacher of the Year award recipient. Chris is the chief editor of ICT in Practice magazine and co-hosts the Education Vanguard, Tech Tools Daily, and EdTech Roundtable programs on 21st Century Learning Radio. Currently, he focuses on project-based learning, computational thinking, relational teaching, and equity in education. Chris is a lifelong learner who researches and uses the latest and greatest EdTech tools because he believes in providing the best possible learning environments for all students.
Dennis Grice
Dennis Grice is product of Lutheran education. His parents (now retired) have served a total of 82 years in Lutheran schools. Dennis has been a K-8 technology teacher in Southern California for more than 20 years. He is also a Google Certified Teacher, Discovery Education Guru, TEC21 Workshop Facilitator, and has shared his passion for integrating technology into curriculum at workshops and conferences across the United States. He is also been an adjunct professor for Concordia University and an independent trainer for Discovery Education. He has earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Concordia Irvine and a masters in Instructional systems technology from Cal State Long Beach. Dennis sees his mission is not to teach technology, but to help teachers use technology as a tool to help students learn and show what they know. He has a passion for digital storytelling and believes that teaching is a spark that ignites curiosity and develops a lifelong love of learning.
Daniel Mendes
Daniel is originally from Canada and has been an international educator in Russia, South Africa, UAE and currently in Shanghai, China. Daniel spent 7 years as a Technology Specialist promoting the use of various technologies and program to augment the learning environment. Most recently, Daniel has been passionate about video broadcasting/production and has worked to develop the American School of Dubai video broadcasting program which has positively impacted the entire school community.
