Teachers are givers. That is just what we are all about. We give, give, give. Sometimes, however, we want the things we give to be returned to us. This might include classroom books, equipment, pencils or even our car.
The Who Has What app helps keep loaned items organized and more likely to be returned.
The app keeps things simple by allowing for barcode scanning, multiple device syncing via iCloud and an automated reminder system to let you know when things are due. If you have the person in your contacts, you can send a pre-written email reminding them to return things as well.
Sample Uses
- Keep track of books you loan out
- Track textbooks you assign to students in one place
Do I Plan to Use It?
No, but only because I am not a classroom teacher. Then I would. If I end up loaning tons of stuff out next year at my new job, then I will reconsider.
Commitment and Learning Curve
Low curves here. Just click and point and go.
Best for ES MS or HS?
This is aimed at adults mostly. HS or MS kids could use it, but I don’t think they would bother with it.
Cost
99 cents in the app store
